Happy Father's Day to all of the GREAT Dads and step-dads in our family.
I am ever impressed by the terrific dads in our family both young and old. Bravo to all of you for being men who are actually involved in the lives of your children. You are not just a guy who is passing through their lives on the way to work. How lucky your children are to have dads who not only take them to the park, and ball games and school plays but also take them to doctors visits and dentist appointments and school open houses. I watch the young dads...so willing to change diapers and wrestle with a crabby baby and I am humbled. To all of you who are dads to sons...it is great to know that by your example, those boys are being trained to be great fathers themselves someday! Everyone knows how important Moms are in the lives of their children but more and more Dads are being recognized as an ever important piece of the puzzle that is a healthy happy family.
So Dads on this Day that is designated as your day...kick back and relax and have a great day.
